- Are the scheduling requirements for NSPIRE the same as REAC! 28, 14, 7 day notices?
Yes - Also can we use the same format for the letters as REAC?
Yes and contractor you should use the same language. Any added language should not change or deviate from HUD’s message. - Is HUD using the same COVID-19 protocol for NSPIRE?
No, the COVID protocols have been rescinded per Biden’s proclamation to return to normal operation eff. 5/11/2023.
An inspector notice will be issued soon regarding this.
Incidences of COVID reported on the property should be retreated as an communicable disease. An alternate unit selected.

NSPIRE, which stand for “National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate”, will be replacing UPCS as the defacto inspection protocol soon. Stay tuned for any further updates.
